I don't go to the windows much, I'm a bigger fool than that. But I watched Dominguez with great excitement.

I remember the first time I saw Rosie at the Potomac Hunt Races on the pristine rolling fields of the Kiplinger estate in Poolesville, Maryland. She was probably 8 yrs old riding ponies, today she won 2 races on opening day at the Spa. You've come a long way baby. I would advise you good folks to get on her and stay there.

Dear Gary and Jimmy:

Regarding "Bruisers":

Rosie can "steer" the strongest of mounts.. She does not lack strength or aggressive riding ability. Finesse and judgement have been her weak areas.

Napravnic has refined her skills. Her riding no longer potentially hinders the performance of a really good horse. If she continues to improve, she may reach a level where she adds to it.

Napravnik is good with those horses she fits and if you think the trainer's got half a clue she's worth a bet but she'll never be as strong as most of the big money men riders and she won't get those bruisers it takes to win the big races.

On second thought I watched again her ride on Perfect Officer in the Willard Straight. While there was no getting to the winner, Fiddlers Patriot, in near record time(his own record) Rosie rode a winning race for 2nd on Perfect Officer. Anyone know why Anthony Dutrow has Perfect Officer now and not Michael Pino?
