METROPOL (Lexington, KY - Dining)
307 West Short St, Lexington, KY Web: www.metropolfinedining.com Type: Fine dining; prices are moderate
Located in Lexington’s downtown Historic District, the Metropol is named after the Schraemli family chain of hotels in Switzerland which have been in business since the turn of the 20th century. The fine dining in the historic atmosphere provides a memorable experience for all. I recommend trying the roast duck or baby rack of lamb along with any fresh Kentucky Proud vegetables and salad. The prices are moderate considering the quality of the food and the atmosphere.
