TEAK RESTAURANT (Jersey Shore, NJ - Dining)
64 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, NJ, 07701 Phone: (732) 747-5775 Web: www.teakrestaurant.com Type: Trendy Asian fusion sushi bar & lounge
If you are making a trip to Red Bank, you should definitely consider making a stop at Teak. If you are in the mood for a trendy venue, reminiscent of something you might find in New York City, this Asian fusion sushi bar and lounge is for you. The sushi is fresh (with all you can eat sushi from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. on Sunday for $25!) and many of their creations are inspiring, not to mention tasty. Personally, whenever I make the trip up the street from our offices at the TDN, the Pad Thai and the Duck Salad are generally among my top selections.
While the food is grand, the bar is often the place to be. Monday’s at Teak are half price night, which is always sure to draw a full house. On every second and fourth Friday of the month a live band is brought in and one of the main dining rooms is cleared for Salsa night, so be sure to throw on your dancing shoes! Who knows, you might even find a TDNer or two burning up the dance floor.
