HEIRLOOM (Lexington, KY - Dining)

“The best restaurant in Central Kentucky right now is a place called Heirloom in Midway. The food is exceptional, the portions are medium sized so you don’t feel like you’ve been to Bob’s Smorgasbord, and the menu is exceptional. They have sauteed chicken livers with a lemon ricotta pasta that’s great, rabbit pappardelle, an arugula salad–just stuff you don’t get day to day in Lexington. A guy named Mark Womblesin the chef and the owner. It recently won an award, and is truly the great unknown place to eat in the local area.”
