ARIZONA-SONORA DESERT MUSEUM (Tucson, AZ - Entertainment)
2021 N Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85743 Phone: (520) 883-2702 Web: www.desertmuseum.org Type: Zoo, museum & botanical garden
If you want a diversion that allows you to enjoy the weather but doesn't involve 36 holes of golf, you cannot do better than the Desert Museum. It is a zoo, a natural history museum and a botanical garden combined. The animals are housed in very natural Sonoran desert settings. Plan to spend at least half a day to see everything, and make sure you see the hummingbird aviary.
