Probably isn’t the kind of place you’d tell your cardiologist about, but this very casual neighborhood favorite is a perfect spot for breakfast, especially if you were overserved in the French Quarter the night before. Covered with post-its begging for its return after Katrina, the Camellia Grill is home to the best omelettes in the world. And the chocolate pecan pie is hard to beat, too. There can be a long line out front, but it usually moves quickly, and the food and friendly wait staff make it worth the wait.
