THE WISHING WELL (Saratoga, NY - Dining)
745 Saratoga Rd, Gansevoort, NY Web: www.wishingwellrestaurant.com Type: Restaurant with a cozy, family atmosphere
The Wishing Well is a restaurant that has been around since 1936 and the building is actually a former home with a cozy, family atmosphere. It is family owned and serves tasty and consistent food. My favorite dish is the Lazy Man’s Lobster, and there are plenty of options between the Certified Angus Beef and other assortments of seafood. There is also an extensive list of wines by the glass. The dress code is smart casual. They are open daily for dinner at 5 p.m. during the racing season and recommendations are recommended.
