SPRINGWATER BISTRO (Saratoga, NY - Dining)
139 Union Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY Web: www.springwaterbistro.com Type: Unique meals; dress is casual
Springwater has been around for a while, but continues to turn out unique meals. Monday night is tapas night, which is always fun. Chef David Britton has a great imagination and uses local produce to create some very original dishes. The bar is lively and the clientele interesting. Dress is casual, though some jackets and ties will be seen. The wine list has some very nice choices at reasonable prices. I particularly like the desserts.
