Little Red Feather Racing has announced that under its recently established LRF Thoroughbred Fund, a minority ownership share has been acquired in the 3-year-old stakes-placed colt Cistron (The Factor).

The $180,000 KEESEP yearling purchase by Hronis Racing LLC followed a grassy maiden at Del Mar Dec. 4 with a third-place finish in Santa Anita's Eddie Logan S. Dec. 30. He is trained by John Sadler.

LRF established the first-ever equity partnership under the recently adopted rules set by Title lll of the Jobs Act in August of last year. LRF raised nearly $300,000 in a few months.

“We have the budget for one or more additional purchases under this current Crowdfunding initiative,” said LRF's founder and managing partner, Billy Koch. “We need more philanthropic owners like Kosta to give back and allow our Crowdfunders the chance of a lifetime with stakes-quality horses.”
