Katherine Ball's Limousine Liberal (Successful Appeal), runner-up in last year's GI King's Bishop S., will make his next start in the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint at Santa Anita Nov. 5. The dark bay was most recently a head second to MGISW A.P. Indian (Indian Charlie) in Keeneland's GI Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix S. Oct. 7.
“He's doing good and we were a nose away from getting a 'Win and You're In' spot so we are going to roll the dice and take a shot,” trainer Ben Colebrook said Tuesday.
The gelding is currently scheduled to leave for California Saturday, but Colebrook may try to push it back further.
“I would like to leave him here as long as I can,” he said.
