Away well, the $350,000 KEESEP yearling buy settled in midpack early on and sat seventh while saving ground as European invader Double Espresso (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) cleared through a :24.19 quarter and :49.46 half. That one spurted away on the far turn as Squeeze began to move up at the three-eighths pole, advancing to fifth turning for home. Still with a good five lengths to make up past the furlong grounds, the dark bay filly showed an impressive turn of foot under Julien Leparoux to rally alongside and blow by the longtime leader for a 1 1/2-length tally. Coogee Bay (Lonhro {Aus}) ,a daughter of MGISW Manistique (Unbridled) , finished 10th.
