A share in French champion sire-elect Le Havre (Ire) will be offered on Arqana Online, with the auction beginning Nov. 2 from 3 p.m. with a 24-hour duration.
Aged just 10, Le Havre has already sired two dual Classic-winning fillies in the form of Avenir Certain (Fr) and La Cressonniere (Fr). The Haras de la Cauviniere flagbearer has sired 17 listed and pattern winners, that tally also including G2 Prix de Chaudenay victor Auvray (Fr) and Suedois (Fr), a Group 3 winner who has been three-times Group 1 placed. Le Havre has covered nearly 200 mares each of the last two seasons. He stood for €35,000 this year and his 2017 fee will be announced Oct. 31.
