A Medaglia d'Oro colt brought $1.2 million from Shadwell late in Wednesday's third session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
The bay is out of Bunairgead (Ire) (New Approach {Ire}), SW & MGSP-Ire. His second dam is the SW & MGSP Montecito (Seeking the Gold).
Bunairgead, in foal to Medaglia d'Oro, was purchased by Hinkle Farms for $535,000 at the 2017 KEENOV Sale.
Hip 730, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Agent XCVI, was bred in Kentucky by Deron Pearson.
