Lady Eli (Divine Park), last seen finishing a close second in the GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf Nov. 5, posted her first breeze of the season this past weekend, covering three furlongs in an easy :37.90 (2/4) over the Palm Meadows turf Feb. 18.

Withdrawn from last year's Keeneland November Sale after coming up just a nose short to Queen's Trust (GB) (Dansili {GB}) on Breeders' Cup Saturday at Santa Anita, the three-time Grade I winner could begin her 5-year-old campaign for Sheep Pond Partners and trainer Chad Brown in either the GI Coolmore Jenny Wiley S. at Keeneland Apr. 15 or the GIII Beaugay S. at Belmont May 13.

“We gave her a nice break after the Breeders' Cup,” owner Sol Kumin commented. “She stayed with Chad [Brown] and has been at Palm Meadows for the winter. Chad is just starting to get her going with her first breeze last weekend. We are looking at a few races in April and May and we are extremely excited to get her back to the races and see what she can do this year.”
