+NIGHT CIRCUS (IRE), (c, 3, Invincible Spirit {Ire}–Surrealism {GB}, by Pivotal {GB}) was well away and settled into a smooth rhythm stalking the pace in an overall fourth through the early fractions of this debut. Nudged along to close with three furlongs remaining, the 13-2 chance quickened to challenge at the two pole and was ridden out up the hill to deny Jalela (GB) (Canford Cliffs {Ire}) by 3/4 of a length. Elyaasaat (Frankel {GB}), a son of MGISW Lahudood (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}), recovered from a slow departure to lead the far-side group in second overall and faded under tender handling in the closing stages to finish sixth. The homebred bay is the second scorer out of a winning half-sister to G3 Geelong Cup-winning G1 Melbourne Cup runner-up Bauer (Ire) (Halling), and he is a half-brother to MSW G3 Prix Perth second Momayyaz (Ire) (Elusive Quality) and a yearling colt by Dawn Approach (Ire). His second dam Dali's Grey (GB) (Linamix {Fr}) is a winning full-sister to G2 Prix de Malleret-winning G1 Prix Vermeille runner-up Diamilina (Fr), and a halfsister to MG1SP G3 Prix La Rochette-winning sire Diamond Green (Green Desert).
