    Breeder: Grundy Bloodstock SRL
    Buyer: Blandford Bloodstock
    Consignor: Highclere Stud
Galileo's stock continues to attract the keenest interest and the latest of the Coolmore sire's offerings sent forth went the way of Blandford Bloodstock's Tom Goff for 650,000gns. Out of the 1999 G1 Prix de la Foret victress Field of Hope (Ire) (Selkirk), the March-foaled chestnut is a sibling of four black-type performers, including the 2006 G1 2000 Guineas third Olympian Odyssey (GB) (Sadler's Wells). "He is for a long-established client and is a lovely horse with a faultless pedigree," commented Goff. "I think this is one of the strongest horse sales I have ever been to, certainly in Europe, and definitely since the banking crisis. It has been a very good group of horses and they have been produced very well." David Redvers was underbidder.
