Yearling FGalileo (Ire)--Prudenzia (Ire)1,000,000
Breeder: Ecurie des Monceaux & Skymarc Farm Inc
    Buyer: M V Magnier
    Consignor: Ecurie des Monceaux
The second lot to make €1million today is Ecurie des Monceaux’s February-foaled Galileo (Ire) three-parts sister to Chicquita (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}) who was knocked down to Michael Magnier. Chicquita, who cost Paul Makin €600,000 at this sale in 2011, has proved a revelation this term by winning the G1 Irish Oaks and finishing runner-up in the G1 Prix de Diane. From the family of Pacifique (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}), Pongee (GB) (Barathea {Ire}) and Alexandrova (Ire) (Sadler’s Wells), she was the subject of a late update after Godolphin’s Pinzolo (GB) (Monsun {Ger}) scored on debut on Friday evening.
