He moved up to bid on the turn, and gained a narrow advantage at the top of the lane. Ring Weekend (Tapit) challenged, but was unable to catch Divine Oath as he crossed the wire a half-length in front. Abundio (Giant’s Causeway) was off awkwardly and finished 10th. Divine Oath is the second foal out of his dam and the first to make it to the track.
