8th at KEEGIII Jessamine S. ($150k)  [1 1/16m (T)]Winner: Kitten Kaboodle, f, 2 by Kitten's Joy
Ken and Sarah Ramsey homebred Kitten Kaboodle (f, 2, Kitten's Joy--Easy Slam, by Grand Slam), second in her first two starts on grass for trainer Wayne Catalano at Saratoga this summer, was backed at 7-2 while making her first attempt for trainer Chad Brown here. Placed within striking distance while saving ground in third, the chestnut shot through an inviting opening along the inside in the stretch, and punched for home nicely to earn her diploma in style. It was at least five lengths back to "TDN Rising Star" Zinzay (Smart Strike) in second; Courtesan (Street Sense) was third. The final time for 1 1/16 miles was 1:44.01. The Jessamine is a "Win and You're In" event for the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.
