2nd at CDXMsw ($43K)  [6f]Winner: Brazen Persusasion, f, 2 by Indian Charlie
2nd-CDX, $43,176, Msw, 2yo, f, 6f, 1:09 3/5, ft.
BRAZEN PERSUASION (f, 2, Indian Charlie--Beholden, by Cat Thief), a $57,000 KEESEP yearling turned $210,000 OBSMAR 2-year-old after breezing in :10 flat, was a close second at even-money in her local unveiling May 31. She was off at 3-1 as fellow debut runner-up Whomping Willow (Mineshaft) took all the money, and tried to keep up with that foe as she bowled along on the lead. Brazen Persuasion cut into the pacesetter’s advantage on the turn for home, came to even terms with her at the head of the lane and pulled clear inside the eighth pole to don cap and gown by 4 3/4 lengths. Whomping Willow was 6 1/2 lengths clear of the show horse. The winner is a half to Behold de Buy (E Dubai), SW, $158,285. Lifetime Record: 2-1-1-0, $36,000. Click for the brisnet.com chart or VIDEO.
