7th-CDX, $38,972, Msw, 2yo, 5fT, :57 2/5, fm.
+HERE'S JOHNNY (c, 2, Colonel John--Bon Caro, by Bon Point {GB}), let go at an off-putting 4-1 from a morning line of 5-2, provided his freshman sire (by Tiznow) with his second first-crop winner and his trainer Wesley Ward with his seventh 2-year-old winner at the current Churchill stand, sitting a box-seat trip before tipping out in upper stretch for a convincing 2 1/2-length debut victory Friday in Louisville. Indigo Diamond (Belong to Me) rallied for second ahead of Manaus (Stroll) in third. A $40,000 KEENOV weanling turned $220,000 OBS August yearling purchase, Here's Johnny was the fourth most-expensive of 61 of his sire's first-crop yearlings to go under the hammer in 2012. He is a half-brother to Glitter City (City Place), SW & GSP, $207,854; and Wild Forest Cat (D'Wildcat), GSP, neither of whom managed a debut win, but were both Grade III placed during their juvenile seasons. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $21,720. Click for the chart or VIDEO.
