The 6-5 favorite took the early lead along the rail and, although pressed down the backstretch, remained ahead. He shook free at the top of the stretch and, despite running greenly and drifting out, finished a length ahead of The Candidate (Bernardini). Abraham’s dam Tabarin is a half-sister to multiple graded winners Miss Isella (Silver Charm) and Sir Cherokee (Cherokee Run). She has a 2-year-old Smart Strike filly, and was bred back to Distorted Humor after foaling a Congrats filly last May. Sales history: $240,000 RNA wlng '10 KEENOV; $300,000 yrl '11 KEESEP.
