Drawn wide in post nine here, he was settled just off the leaders in fourth through an opening quarter in :23.43. With John Velazquez aboard, Jack Milton was placed in a perfect spot on the outside in third entering the turn, made his move to the front as they straightened for home, and leveled off nicely to graduate by 2 1/2 lengths. War Dancer (War Front) was up for second at 36-1 to complete the exacta for his sire. Middleburg (Lemon Drop Kid), a half-brother to millionaire Winchester (Theatrical {Ire}), reported home seventh.
