TDN MAGAZINE, The International Difference: Part III of A Painful Truth: "Welfare in Europe means to train the horse without any chemicals and make him race if he can face the challenge,” says France Galop's Dr. Roland Devolz. “In your country, welfare means to be allowed to use as many drugs as possible to ensure the horse will support training and race." Whose version is right? Part 3 of A Painful Truth examines North America's singular stance on medication. Download part three by clicking here.

Two T's at Two B romped home by a front-running 7 1/4 lengths in his five-furlong debut at this track May 19. Widest of all in a four-way skirmish for the early lead, the favorite asserted control entering the turn and was never threatened down the lane under a hand ride. "I've worked a couple of these other horses in the morning, so I knew he was better, and I wasn't worried about much going into the race," winning jockey Eduardo Nunez said. "When I looked up in the stretch and saw him [on the infield video screen], I said to myself 'Wow, look at him just take off.' He's already a nice horse, and I think he is going to be a real nice horse." Click for the brisnet.com chart. Video, sponsored by Taylor Made Sales.
