BURBAN (f, 4, Speightstown--Horse B With You {SW & GSP}, by Slewdledo) was second-best to Groupie Doll (Bowman's Band) in her unveiling under the Twin Spires last June. The dark bay graduated with a sharp front-running effort on the Fourth of July, but was subsequently benched. She came back to capture a first-level allowance May 1 at this track and was 4-5 to keep up the good work. After sitting a perfect trip in second, Burban took over in the lane as jockey Corey Lanerie snuck a few peeks backward. Lanerie hand-rode the favorite the remainder of the way to a 4 1/4-length tally. Young and Lovely (Istan) won the battle for second from Accessorize (Fusaichi Pegasus). Sales history: $90,000 yrl '09 KEESEP. Lifetime Record: 4-3-1-0, $118,440.
