    Breeder: Green Willow Farms (MD)
    Consignor: Select Sales, agent
    Buyer: Litt/Solis, agent
Widely expected to be one of the more coveted lots at the 2014 Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale, the Select Sales-consigned Life Happened (m, 13, Stravinsky--Round It Off, by Apalachee) did not disappoint, selling to the bid of Jason Litt for $750,000 on behalf of an undisclosed client. An unraced half-sister to the good dual Grade III-winning sprinter Disco Rico (Citidancer), Life Happened has become a very successful producer. From her four foals to race, the 13-year-old mare is the dam of MGSP Prime Cut (Bernstein) and is also responsible for his full sister Tepin, who closed out 2013 with a victory in the vaulable GIII Delta Princess S. at Delta Downs. Life Happened was sold in foal to the late Harlan's Holiday, meaning she is carrying a 3/4-sibling to her foal of 2010, the MGSW and GISP Vyjack (Into Mischief). Machmer Hall acquired Life Happened for $4,500 at the 2008 Keeneland November sale.
