ON THE GO (c, 2, Run Away and Hide--Erin's Tour, by Tour d'Or) was claimed from Midwest Thoroughbreds Inc and trainer Jamie Ness after winning his debut by eight lengths here June 25. However, he faded to sixth in the Par Four Overnight S. last time out July 12. The 5-1 shot here, his chances greatly improved after 1-5 favorite Bobcat Jim (Sharp Humor) unseated his rider after the start. On The Go briefly dueled for the lead before setting the pace, but jockey Javier Santiago was forced to hold the colt back as Bobcat Jim ran in front. The bay was taken wide to avoid the riderless horse and followed him home, hitting the wire 10 lengths ahead of second place finisher Alpha Mike Foxtrot (Two Punch).
