That foe proved tough to get past in the stretch, but Violence kept on plugging away on the outside and was able to get a neck in front in the shadow of the wire. Fellow firster Orb (Malibu Moon) spotted the field several lengths after rearing at the start from post one, but put in an impressive late run to collect show honors at 29-1.
