The action at the Fasig-Tipton July Sale heated up just after noon when trainer Ken McPeek stepped up to secure hip 86, a Malibu Moon colt out of Uncontrollable (Wild Again), for $375,000. Fellow conditioner Mark Casse was the underbidder for the colt, who was consigned by CandyLand as agent. Bred in Kentucky and listed as Delaware-certified, the bay is a half-brother to the stakes-placed duo of Southern Truth and Meistersinger, both by Yes It's True.
