Godolphin Buy Into Dawn Approach

Godolphin have purchased a majority share in Jim Bolger's G2 Coventry S. winner Dawn Approach (Ire) (New Approach {Ire}), it was announced today. The TDN Rising Star, who is unbeaten in four starts culminating in last Tuesday's six-furlong juvenile highlight of the Royal meeting, will remain in training at Coolcullen for this year and will race in Godolphin's colours before a decision about his 3-year-old career is made later in 2012. Simon Crisford, Godolphin's racing manager, commented, "We are delighted Dawn Approach will race for Godolphin and look forward to seeing him run at the highest level throughout his career. It is fantastic how well New Approach has started his stallion career and Dawn Approach appears to have inherited many of his qualities."
