International Entries For Qatar

Chemical Charge holds an entry in Qatar | Racing Post

The six international races of the H H The Emir's Sword Festival in Qatar on Feb. 23 and 24 have drawn 78 entries from outside Qatar, those hailing from nine different countries on three continents. The six races carry total prizemoney of $2.95-million.

The feature race is the $1-million H H The Emir's Trophy over 2400 metres. Internationals in line include British Group 3 winner Chemical Charge (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Ire}); the Chad Brown-trained Grade II winner Money Multiplier (Lookin at Lucky) and last year's runner-up, the German-trained Noor Al Hawa (Fr) (Makfi {GB}).

Other international runners with entries are Roger Teal's Tip Two Win (GB) (Dark Angel {Ire}), who won the Al Rayyan S. in Doha four weeks ago, in the $250,000 Al Biddah Mile; and Robin Of Navan (Fr) (American Post {GB}) and Gordon Lord Byron (Ire) (Byron {GB}) in the $200,000 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cup. The other feature for Thoroughbreds is the $250,000 Dukhan Sprint.
