Todd Pletcher will saddle first-time starter BLAHNIK (Bernardini), a $575,000 OBS March purchase by Repole Stable and Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners after gliding through an eighth in :10 1/5 at the under-tack show. Lyrical Lady (More Than Ready) was also in high demand at that same auction, bringing $625,000 from Phoenix Thoroughbred III. She worked a quarter in :20 3/5 at the breeze show.
