GSW & MG1SP Heatherly (Aus) (Lonhro {Aus}) and MGSW & G1SP Gypsy Diamond (Aus) (Not A Single Doubt {Aus}), in foal to Written Tycoon (Aus) and I Am Invincible (Aus), respectively, are among the early entrants for the Inglis Chairman's Sale of Breeding Prospects, Inglis announced on Thursday. Entries for the sale, held on Apr. 12, close on Mar. 2.
Also available at the Chairman's Sale, is a share in G1 Golden Slipper hero Sebring (Aus) (More Than Ready) and a lifetime breeding right to I Am Invincible (Aus), as well as the dam of G1 VRC Oaks heroine Pinot (Aus) (Pierro {Aus}), Dizelle (Aus) (Zabeel {NZ}), carrying a foal by Flying Artie (Aus) (Artie Schiller). There is also a sister to champion More Joyous (NZ) (More Than Ready) in foal to Written Tycoon (Aus).
Quality weanlings will be offered by such sires as: champion sire Snitzel (Aus), Vancouver (Aus), Pride of Dubai (Aus), Fastnet Rock (Aus), and mares in foal to American Pharoah, Capitalist (Aus), Sebring (Aus), I Am Invincible (Aus), and Exceed And Excel (Aus) among others. Waratah Thoroughbreds is also sending an 11-strong draft as part of its broodmare dispersal.
“We are fielding enquiries every hour from leading owners and breeders who want to be a part of the Chairman's Sale revolution,” said Inglis General Manager of Bloodstock Jonathan D'Arcy. “There will be no better time to offer top-class weanlings and breeding stock than immediately after the Easter Yearling Sale at Riverside. This sale is only going to get stronger judging by the quality of entries coming in and with entries closing shortly, vendors need to act now to ensure they don't miss out.”
