Almosthaditall (Henrythenavigator), whose half-sister Steady Course (Old Trieste) is the dam of the undefeated and newly retired US sophomore colt and 'TDN Rising Star' Mastery (Candy Ride {Arg}), was hammered down to Michael and Tanya McHardy's Kwa-Zulu-Natal-based Rathmor Stud for R2.4 million (£146,594/€167,289/US$187,311) to top Friday's Cape Thoroughbred Sales Mares, Weanlings and Fillies for Stud Sale. The 6-year-old daughter of the Storm Cat mare Steady Cat (Storm Cat) was consigned to the sale by Klawervlei Stud and was offered in foal to leading sire Dynasty (SAf). A total of 82 horses of all ages were reported as sold for R13.6 million, good for an average of R166,341 and a median of R80,000.
