Grade III winner Sky Girl (Sky Mesa), sister to GI Kentucky Oaks heroine Abel Tasman (Quality Road), was snapped up for $1.5 million by Mt. Brilliant at Keeneland Wednesday. Offered by Mill Ridge Sales as Hip 330, the 7-year-old mare–in foal to Union Rags–is out of Vargas Girl, a sister to graded winner and dam Moonlight Sonata.
