Goldream on Song for King's Stand

Goldream | Racing Post

Robert Cowell reports Goldream (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) be to be in tip-top form ahead of his bid to regain his sprinting crown in the G1 King's Stand S. at Royal Ascot on June 20. The son of Oasis Dream lifted the five-furlong feature on his favoured fast ground in 2015, but missed the race 12 months ago. The 8-year-old has shown he is still laden with ability with two fine runs in May. Third to G1 Prix de l'Abbaye heroine Marsha (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}) on his return in the G3 Palace House S. at Newmarket May 6, he subsequently finished second to Priceless (GB) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}) in the G2 Temple S. at Haydock despite being uncharacteristically slowly away last out May 27.

“He's ready and in absolutely brilliant form,” said Cowell. “I don't think I've had him better. He looks perfect and it's all systems go for the King's Stand.”
