Godolphin has launched Masar Godolphin, its new educational programme for Emiratis. The 10-month scholarship will see eight successful Emirati applicants aged between 23 and 30 study all aspects of the racing and breeding industries in Dubai, the UK and Ireland.

Speaking at the launch, John Ferguson, Chief Executive and Racing Manager for Godolphin, said, “Over the last 20 years, Sheikh Mohammed has led Godolphin's development with incredible success across the globe. Godolphin's home is Dubai, and as the city has grown, the passion for horses has grown with it. Now is the perfect time to create an opportunity for young UAE nationals to immerse themselves in the world of Thoroughbred horse breeding and racing, and perhaps one day, help contribute to the success of Godolphin, Dubai's home team.”
