Cary Frommer has tasted much success over the past few seasons with smashing yearling-to-juvenile pinhooks, and hip 516, a Ghostzapper colt out of the unplaced Malibu Cougar (Malibu Moon), made for another when hammering to Donato Lanni for $800,000. A $200,000 purchase by Frommer out of last year's Fasig-Tipton October yearling sale, the chestnut is out of a full-sister to TDN Rising Stars Kauai Katie (MGSW) and Winding Way (GSW). Hip 516 breezed a furlong in :10 1/5.
