Frosted (Tapit), the standout winner of the GI Metropolitan H. and GI Whitney H. in his two most recent trips to the post, breezed a half-mile Thursday morning in :49 flat over the all-weather track at the Greentree Training Center, his first work since his Whitney success.

The 4-year-old, who was fifth to California Chrome (Lucky Pulpit) in the G1 Dubai World Cup prior to winning his last two, is under consideration for the GI Woodward S. Sept. 3, though trainer Kiaran McLauglin has yet to make a final decision.

“It's not confirmed yet,” said trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. “Jimmy Bell [Godolphin's North American representative] has sent word to John Ferguson [Godolphin chief executive and racing manager] who is in turn talking to Sheikh Mohammed about the Woodward. We're not confirmed yet. That's what we're looking at. He's ready if that's what they choose.”

The conditioner was pleased with what he saw on the track Thursday morning.

“Perfect, nice, beautiful,” he said of the move. “Doing great. He hasn't changed at all. He came out of his race huge. No issues, so all is well.”
