For Royalty, offered as Hip 244, realized a $2.1 million final bid from Jane Lyon's Summer Wind Equine during the second session of Keeneland's November sale. Consigned by Denali Stud (Craig and Holly Bandoroff), Agent LIV, the 10-year-old mare is believed to be in foal to Bernardini. A minor stakes winner at two, the Not For Love mare–who is a half sister to graded scorer Kiss To Remember–is responsible for Grade I winner Constellation (Bellamy Road). Bred by Mr and Mrs Charles McGinnes, this represents the family of Irish Cherry, dam of Grade I winners Spun Sugar and Daaher.
