YOUR LOVE (f, 3, Flatter–Queen of America, by Quiet American) defeated well-bred stablemate Quiet Flirt (Malibu Moon–Quiet Giant) by a neck here May 10, and was even-money to remain unbeaten. The $425,000 KEESEP acquisition sat out in the clear as Kirby's Penny (Macho Uno) showed the way narrowly through a half in :47.20. Your Love was very confidently ridden by Irad Ortiz, Jr. as she strode up to assert four deep, but Kirby's Penny wasn't done yet and dug in gamely at the head of the lane. Kirby's Penny drifted out sharply in midstretch, prompting Dawn the Destroyer (Speightstown) to be steadied out, but Your Love fought on despite apparent contact to get her neck down on the wire. Dawn the Destroyer settled for third, and while the stewards reviewed the stretch run, they made no change in the order of finish. The winner is a full-sister to her stablemate Economic Model, SW & GISP, $499,400; and a half to Jimmy Simms (Lost Soldier), MSW & GSP, $635,616; and Well Monied (Maria's Mon), GSW & MGISP, $393,729. She has a juvenile half-brother by Orb named King Orb, who sold to Robert and Lawana Low for $300,000 as a Keeneland September yearling, as well as a full-brother foaled Jan. 28. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $91,200. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
