JUNGLE JANE (IRE) (f, 2, Bungle Inthejungle {GB}–Funcheon Vale {Ire}, by Acclamation {GB}), sent off at 6-1, broke sharply to lead against the rail. Kicking into a decisive lead in midstraight, the €8,000 GOFNOV foal and €15,000 GOYRL yearling looked to be tiring late but held on by a neck from Romme (Ire) (Society Rock {Ire}). In doing so, she becomes the first winner for her MGSW first-season sire (by Exceed and Excel {Aus}) who stands at Rathasker Stud for €5,000. The dam, who also has a yearling filly by Anjaal (GB), is a half to the GIII Senorita S. winner and GII San Clemente H. runner-up Miss Vegas (Ire) (Efisio {GB}). Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $11,462.
