First Defence (Unbridled's Song), sire of American champion Close Hatches, and former Florida stallion United States (A.P. Indy) have been sold to stand in Saudia Arabia in a deal brokered by Chad Schumer and Khalid Alsyari.
First Defence, a Grade I-winning sprinter, is also the sire of British Group 3 winner Dundonnell, as well as graded/group winners Antonoe and Irish Jasper.
United States, out of a half-sister to GI Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus (Mr. Prospector), is the sire of Grade III winner La Irunesa from three small crops of racing age.
