The first foal born by G1 Prince of Wales's S. winner Free Eagle (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) is a filly. Bred by Gloria and Stephen Seymour of Bickfield House Farm, the bay filly is out of Al Kahina (GB) (Mark of Esteem {Ire}), an unraced half-sister to the Listed Flame of Tara S. winner Kanisfluh (GB) (Pivotal {GB}), who is herself a stakes producer.
Free Eagle stands at the Irish National Stud for €20,000, and that operation's Chief Executive Officer John Osborne said, 'The success in the sales ring so far of [High Chaparral sons] Dundeel and Toronado hints that Free Eagle will produce foals in his own image–and he is a beauty.
