Woodside Park Stud's General Manager Sam Fairgray will be leaving the stud and taking up a position with Yulong Park Stud, Woodside announced on Wednesday. Fairgray began his current position in May of 2017.
“I'd like to thank Sam for his efforts over the past six months and wish him well in his future endeavours,” said Mark Rowsthorn, owner of Woodside Park Stud. “In his short time at the farm, he has imparted a lot of knowledge to our people and his experience has been a real asset to our organisation.”
Said Fairgray, who will transition out of Woodside over the coming months, “I am sad to be leaving Woodside Park Stud, but the opportunity to join a global organisation like Yulong and manage its Australian breeding and racing operations was too good to pass up.”
