Tattersalls Ireland have added a second day to their September Yearling Sale Part II. The sales company have been inundated with entries for the sale leaving them with little choice but to add an extra day of trade. Part II will now take place Sept 22 and 23 and will be immediately preceded by the two day September Yearling Sale. Catalogues for both sales will be available on-line July 25. The September Yearling Sale has enjoyed some stellar results on the racecourse in recent years with high profile graduates including Classic winners Galileo Gold (GB) (Paco Boy {Ire}), Full Rose (GB) (Aqlaam {GB}) and Hawksmoor (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}); the latter pair winning the last two editions of the G2 German 1000 Guineas. With Goffs having added an extra day to their Sportman's Yearling Sale this year, there will now be eight days of yearling sales in Ireland over two consecutive weeks in September, two more than last year.
