Juddmonte Farms have confirmed the exciting news that Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}) will stay in training to race as a 4-year-old. The brilliant filly carried all before her in 2017 racking up five Group 1 wins in a row by an aggregate of 22 lengths. Those wins included a trio of Oaks victories at Epsom, The Curragh and York and two stunning wins in open company in the G1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth S. at Ascot and the G1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly. The 2018 Arc will again be a major target for the John Gosden trained filly when it returns to Longchamp next year and regarding possible targets before that, Lord Grimthorpe, racing manager to Khalid Abdullah said. “Her racing programme will be decided in the new year, but the defence of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe will be high in consideration.” Fillies have won seven of the last ten runnings of the Arc and if everything goes to plan and Enable gets to line up next year, she will have the opportunity to emulate the brilliant dual Arc winning mare of recent years Treve (Fr) (Motivator {GB}).

One man obviously thrilled at the prospect of teaming up with her again is Frankie Dettori who is unbeaten on the daughter of Nathaniel (Ire) and he said, “I'm very pleased and grateful to Prince Khalid for keeping her in training because, to me, she is a filly of a lifetime. She is the best filly I have ridden. What she has achieved this year has been nothing short of sensational and I'm looking forward to having her back next year so we can have another crack at going for the Arc and all the other big races.”
