€700,000 for Galileo Filly In Deauville

Lot 65 | Arqana photo

Ecurie des Monceaux was the consignor of another high-priced Galileo (Ire) filly at Arqana on Saturday when a half-sister to the stakes-placed Normandy Eagle (Fr) (New Approach {Ire}) (lot 65) fetched €700,000 from Mayfair Speculators and Peter and Ross Doyle. One lot later, Charlie Gordon-Watson signed for lot 66, a daughter of Frankel (GB), for €650,000, while a Dubawi (Ire) filly (lot 55) had made that same price from Japan's Koji Maeda earlier in the session.
