Sent off the 15-8 favourite holding a smart home reputation and a G1 Moyglare Stud S. and G1 Fillies' Mile entry, Wild Illusion was quickly away to lead. Pressured by the experienced Give and Take (GB) (Cityscape {GB}) after halfway, the homebred showed a powerful and resolute galloping style to assert for an authoritative 2 1/2-length success. George Strawbridge's Come with Me (GB) (Dansili {GB}), a daughter of Fantasia (GB) (Sadler's Wells), was never a factor and finished a remote fifth as the winner strung them out. Rumh was a smart performer for Godolphin, a strong front-running type who captured the Listed Ballymacoll Stud Lord Weinstock Memorial S. by six lengths in 2011. Her first foal was year's Listed Montrose S. winner Really Special (GB) (Shamardal), who was also third as the favourite for the Listed Meydan Classic, SW-Eng & SP-UAE, $108,180. Under the third dam is Royal Highness (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}), who won the G2 Prix de Malleret and was second in the G1 Prix Vermeille and G1 Prix Ganay during her stint in France prior to shipping to the States and collecting the GI Beverly D S. for Christophe Clement. She went on to produce the G2 Prix Hocquart and G2 Prix Dollar-winning sire Free Port Lux (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}). Rumh's 2016 filly is by Oasis Dream (GB), while her colt foal is a full-brother to the winner. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $4,674.
