Three black-type races during the Dubai World Cup Carnival have received upgrades. The $175,000 Singspiel S. over 1800 metres on the turf has been bumped up to Group 3 status, as has the $175,000 Dubawi S. over 1200 metres on the dirt. The races are set for Jan. 11 and Jan 18, respectively, next year. Moving up to Group 2 level is the Meydan Sprint over 1000 metres on the turf on Feb. 22.
